Tell Speaker Boehner: Don't Block DADT Repeal

If you thought the fight to end Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell was finally over, think again.

We all thought it was a done deal when President Obama signed the repeal into law. But House Republicans pulled a stunt that could delay or even stop the repeal from taking effect by passing an outrageous series of amendments to the bill that funds our military.

We can’t stay silent in the face of this new GOP push to turn back the clock on repealing Don’t Ask, Don’t tell.

We could not have passed legislation to repeal this policy without grassroots support. Now, we must keep the pressure on, by exposing the despicable tactics that the Republicans are using to stop the repeal from taking effect.

Take action today and voice your outrage at House Republicans trying to turn back the clock on repealing Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.

It’s time to put Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell in the history books for good.

Rep. John Boehner, Ohio-08
Trying to stop the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell is a despicable tactic.

The policy forces patriots to lie about who they are just so they can defend the freedoms that make America great.

Let the repeal stand.

I don't consider myself partial to any politician but people who criticize Obama for not doing anything should probably consider how most Republicans waste the President's and the constituents' time with things that should not be an issue in the first place!

To all LGBT community we have to start fighting back against these people that are voting on rights we should have in the first place. NC residents we must fight against these politicians that deny us of our rights. Why are they making amendments that will take our civil rights? We have children and families that depend on us. These law will also effect our children. If not for ourselves, fight for our family.

As a Texan, My heart breaks for all those who have suffered at the hands of maniacs like Perry. How about praying for something worthwhile. Say maybe the enormous amount of poverty in this country. or is that not as important to Gov. Perry and his Thousands of dollars a month rental mansion as what CONSENTING ADULTS do behind closed doors.

When will the hatred stop? Republicans need to focus more on the economy, instead of rejecting all of President Obama's ideas to improve the economy. Obama for 2012!

Leave it to the Republicans to attempt to undo every single thing that the Democrats manage to accomplish. There is no justification for this. The Republications have been plotting to overthrow the American people, justice and our Constitution since good ol' George W usurped the White House in 2000. ENOUGH ALREADY! Obama are you listening - FIGHT BACK
