Tell Power Plants to Clean Up Their Act

    1. Sponsored by

      an organization supporting clean air

Doctors, nurses, and public health officials agree: industrial carbon pollution threatens the health of Americans. Left unchecked, the resulting increase in smog will trigger more episodes of respiratory distress in children and seniors – and cause premature deaths.

That’s why the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is developing standards that would limit industrial carbon pollution from power plants – and they'll be seeking public comments before taking final action.

These new clean air standards will improve the quality of our air and are a critical step to preventing catastrophic climate change. What’s more, these standards will help grow our economy by stimulating innovation in clean energy technologies – creating new jobs and industries here in America.

But the dirty air lobby is spending millions of dollars on TV ads, lawsuits, and political action to stop them. All while many fossil fuel companies are getting billions in government handouts and special tax loopholes.

Help stand up to the dirty air lobby and protect clean air. Please sign this letter to support EPA’s critical efforts and we’ll deliver it to the EPA.

Environmental Protection Agency
I strongly support the EPA’s efforts to limit industrial carbon pollution from new and existing power plants.

New clean air standards will protect public health, fight climate change, and help our economy by sparking innovation in clean energy technologies.

We must do more to protect human health and the environment from dangerous carbon pollution.

Splitting of atom and Adam is hubris which dictates humanities’ and large mammals extinction. Climate change isn’t at all as benign as it sounds, it’s our extinction in a can. The rate of mass-extinctions of species is far greater than it was before the last ice age ensued. We need to negate the resurgent republican conspiracy theorist assertions that "we don't have to worry about the ice cubes melting, nor, the holes in the clouds"! "...There's a beacon in the sky, meant to catch your eye...", sung by Happy Rhodes. Concentration on solar energy, no non-renewable energy resources and no nuclear, is what's needed. We can't ignore reality, must prevent the point at which ecological destruction becomes irreversible, and humanity and large mammals are extinct, now, in the future; if not you, then who, now, then when, here, where, this, what? reality
