The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has announced it will no longer host SPCA satellite adoption centres in Bosley’s Pet Food Plus stores in British Columbia, effective immediately.
“When we launched our partnership with Bosley’s in October of 2009 it was a wonderful opportunity for us to increase public awareness and exposure for animals needing homes,” says Craig Daniell, chief executive officer of the BC SPCA.
“Bosley’s former president and general manager Ken Almond and his staff were very committed to the partnership and to our shared goal of improving animal welfare in B.C.”
In addition to working collaboratively on the satellite adoption program in 17 of its B.C. retail outlets, Bosley’s also provided corporate support for the BC SPCA & Scotiabank Paws for a Cause event and other SPCA initiatives.
