June 2012

There is an update that Officer Richard Jeanetti has been charged with Operating while Under the Influence, reckless and negligent operation and failing to stop at a stop sign for his role in the car accident back in May. Continue to pass this petition. It is important that all procedural information is made public about how Officer Jeanetti may have been "taken care of" internally to not have a breathalyzer test taken.

It is important that the legal system and its procedures are upheld for all citizens including those whose job it is to protect it.

My cousin Briana will forever be physically and mentally traumatized thanks to a recent near death experience which was caused by an alleged drunk driving police officer. She has not been able to move towards closure because the person who has put her into this predicament has yet to face the beginning processes of the law which he is sworn to uphold thanks in part to fellow police officers not giving the procedural breathalyzer test.

Boston CBS News Investigation Video

Complete a full investigation of the incidents of May 24th, 2012 with the results released to the public. Charges should be brought against Officer Jeanetti for his criminal actions along with any other officers and officials who did not follow procedure and/or protected Officer Jeanetti from being brought to justice.

Charges have been brought against Officer Jeanetti for Operating while Under the Influence, reckless and negligent operation and failing to stop at a stop sign for his role in a car accident.

Continue to share this petition until Officer Jeanetti is arraigned in court and with disclosure on what if any internal Boston Police Dept. missteps were taken in regards to why Officer Jeanetti was not given a breathalyzer test or if any other procedures were ignored.

Here is a news story that documents that Officer Jeanetti was arraigned today without having to post bail for the crimes he committed. He will be due back in court on September 11th. During this time he will continue to deny that he was responsible for the destruction he caused in other people's lives.

Continue to spread this petition. We need signatures to ensure that innocent victims are protected.

    2. Arraignment this Friday July 20th, 2012!

Officer Jeanetti, nearly killed my cousin while drunk driving and now he will finally be arraigned in court, 2 months after the accident. He will be formally advised of the charges and probably be released on remand or after meeting a small bail.

Why is the arraignment taking place so long after the accident? What is the connection between the defendant’s treatment and him being a Boston Police Officer? Why is Officer Jeanetti still on the job for the Boston Police Department?

While all of these questions remain unanswered, Briana, a single young woman of 22 with a broken C1 vertebrae in her neck still faces the threat of having to have corrective surgery to fuse it together. Due to her wounds from the crash, she is unable to independently care for herself including taking a shower. She can't work and any social welfare she is provided by the state she will be forced to return by herself in her own name.

How is this protecting and serving citizens Officer Jeanetti?
