Strip the Part-Time Congress of Employer Provided Health Insurance

    1. Petition by

The Majority Leader -- who sets the work schedule for The People's employees in the House of Representatives -- has followed the lead of many prominent business leaders embittered by the recent election and cut hours so that those employed as Representatives will be working part time rather than full time. Consequently, The People, as the employer, should exercise their same right under the law that led to this current business trend and cut expenses by not paying for health insurance and other benefits that are traditionally only given to full time employees. {As an added benefit of this policy, it is anticipated that the price of pizza in the Capitol commissary will drop by 11-14 cents...]

The only good thing about John Boehner and the least productive Congress in American History is that people are finally stepping up to remind them they are OUR EMPLOYEES. When everyone is pro-active and stops being complacent we can take back our Government. How sad that Mr. Boehner (I refuse to call him Speaker or Rep.) doesn't get it that his legacy is one of DISGRACE. He is self-serving and a disgrace to his position in Government. He cannot re-write history, but he could step up and begin to be a true servant to the American People.
