Stop Free Pet Giveaways on Craigslist, Since Many End Up in the Dog Fighting Industry

Animals given away for free are all too often "adopted" by those in the dog fighting industry to be used as bait to help keep the fighting dogs aggressive and violent. The pet "adopted" online is tied up and mouth duct taped closed (so it can't fight back), then the fighting dog is released to tear it to shreds. WE CANNOT LET THIS HAPPEN EVER AGAIN!   Quote from a dog fighter: "The hardest thing is to get enough dogs and cats to use as bait during training. One good source is to check the local newspapers or Craigslist for ads that offer a pet dog or cat for free. My wife dresses up neatly and collects them for me."   Let's fight back against the dogfighting industry by making it illegal to give away pets for free on Craigslist and everywhere else online.

Start your own petition and let's get elected officials everywhere to stop Craigslist from allowing the supply of animals to the dog fighting industry. Let's go viral with this. Nothing can stop us!

Dianne Feinstein (Senator, California), Senator, California
Let's make it illegal to give away pets for free on sites like Craigslist, since too often they are "adopted" by those in the dog fighting industry to use as bait to keep their fighting dogs aggressive. You have the power to forever end this free supply of animals to a horrific and illegal industry.

If people can't look after a dog ,why do they get one and then have to give the poor dog away , they too deserve the right to live.Think before you act , my dog is part of my family, so if you're not willing to love him or her " DON"T TAKE THEM HOME ".

You need to know whom you are giving your pet to.

Too many free animals end up being tortured and abused.

I've worked in animal rescue/welfare for 40 years, and know this from personal experience--far too many personal experiences.

Because so many animals have ended up with cruel people who torture, mutilate and then kill these poor creatures.
