Stop discriminatory employment practices at US publicly funded charter schools.

This organization which operates 135 charter schools in the United States has been violating the civil rights of American teachers and administrators for the past eleven years by blatantly ignoring  federal age, nationality, and gender equal opportunity laws. Further, their practices have supplanted American jobs by bringing in H1-B visa holders instead of hiring qualified and available American teachers and administrators, and all the while using American tax dollars to do so. The American tax payers are not only losing jobs, but are also required to pay for H1-B visa fees  and in many instances graduate degrees for the foreign teachers and administrators.

With unemployment rates still at an all time high, let's ask our government officials why they are still allowing the influx of H1-B visa employees to take American jobs when the United States has a wealth of qualified and credentialed American teachers and administrators.

In December 2012, through Secretary of Education Arne Duncan's "Race to the Top" contest, the Texas' Harmony Schools charter consortium was awarded $30 million in taxpayer funds, despite the fact that these schools are under local and federal investigation for ongoing illegal and discriminatory practices, and have been linked to Muslim religious leader Fetullah Gulen. In essence, the federal government has rewarded the illegal activities and discriminatory practices of this group, and continues to penalize the victims of this ongoing scam -- the American public.

    3. These schools are now discriminating against special education students.

Some of the administrators at these publicly funded charter schools are refusing to admit students with special needs which is a clear violation of IDEA laws, especially because not only are they discriminating against the students, they are are using federal and state funds to promote their discrimination agenda.

The Gulen movement is literally a foreign cult picking our pockets, taking our tax dollars. They are laughing all the way to the bank. That said, there is no hope of the Federal government taking any action. You must fight this cult at the local level. Do not let them establish a charter school in your area. Any time a group of Turkish people randomly pop up with an idea for a "STEM" charter school, dig a little deeper. You'll find they are Gulen cultists. Don't let them in your pockets.

American jobs, especially in education, must go to American citizens.

Gulen supports anti secular activities in Turkey. We need to support Turkey's secular government and help it stay secular.
