At West Carteret High School, you get in trouble for discrimination...except for one thing. Discrimination against Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals and Transgenders. Our Administration is full of homophobes. Two girls can kiss...and they will get sent to the office. A girl and guy can practically have sex on a table in the middle of the cafeteria, and they won't say anything, at all. We need to stop this discrimination. It's not fair. We shouldn't have to go to school and worry about being harassed for our sexuality. I get harassed and made fun of every day because I'm bisexual. It gets really old, and really starts to depress some people. And it's not only the students who gay-bash. Teachers and Administration do it too. We are sick of sitting around just wishing something would change. It's time to make a change. Before I graduate from here...things will be different. Stop The Discrimination!

try being the only transgender kid at this school. it was to much for me to even deal with, i am now home schooled. they wouldn't let me use the male restrooms because "they didn't want to cause a problem" don't you think it's more of a problem making a boy go into the girls restroom?and no one used the pronouns and name i've asked them to many times. kids are horrible at this school and it needs to stop.

Love is love! And people are people! Love discriminates no one and so, why should people do it? What right do they have to judge their fellow people? No right! LOVE IS LOVE!

Multiple teachers will openly "gay bash" in class, but once any one says something even remotely biased against their christianity or race, they go ape. This isn't right. Love isn't a hetero privilege, it's a human right.
