Hope Christian School discriminates against students with LGBT parents, and then hides behind their religious freedom to do so. While this does not question the religious freedom (and un-Christian like ways of the school by not loving and accepting everyone), it does question the federal money that they receive along with the 501(c)(3) tax exemption which should be revoked based on Bob Jones University v United States (1983).

The child didn't decide who was going to give the best love, just happen to be two human beings. Christians should be more concerned with Heterosexual Divorce rate causing the emotional damage more than Homosexuals providing a loving stable life.

You're not going to take the tax dollars of gay citizens and at the same time discriminate against them. Not on my watch. If you value your ability to hate legally, you're just going to have to give up gay tax dollars.

I am concerned that this "private" school receives federal funding and is allowed to discriminate due to sexual orientation.

There is no place for bigotry in an educational institution.

As as ex-student of Hope Christian, this discrimination does not surprise me in the least. I can say first hand that this school has a very interesting interpretation of "love thy neighbor as thyself." Federal money should not be provided to a school with such ideals.
