"Several UK Internet providers are blocking Pirate Bay’s perfectly legal promotion platform for independent artists. The Promo Bay website is currently being blocked by BT, Virgin Media, BE and possibly several other providers. A plausible explanation is that the Promo Bay domain is listed on the same blocklist that’s used to enforce the Pirate Bay blockade. However. the domain itself has never linked to infringing material, nor is it hosted on The Pirate Bay’s servers." - Torrentfreak.

This is a big silly move by big, silly companies. C'mon guys, be less silly. :)

- Will.

According to this article by the BBC "UK internet service providers (ISPs) have been told they no longer have to block a website which had close links to banned site The Pirate Bay."

If you are with Virgin, BE or BT could you please shoot me an email to confirm the block has actually been turned off? will@willdayble.com

      Pirate Bay spin-off unblock order

UK internet service providers (ISPs) have been told they no longer have to block a website which had close links to banned site The Pirate Bay. Promobay.org had been blocked by ISPs due to its close ties with the torrent-sharing site which contained links to download pirated content.
