Create a Series of Live-Action Eighth Doctor Adventures

    1. Petition by

For 17 years, we only had the TV Movie to satisfy our appetite for a Live-Action Eighth Doctor. On the 14th November 2013, we were granted the minisode, the "Night of the Doctor". Although we do possess a vast number of Big Finish Audio-Dramas and books, it would be a shame to never see McGann as the Time Lord on-screen again. Therefore, I have created this petition in order to drum up interest and support in order to pressure both Moffat and McGann into making a live-action series, featuring the Eighth Doctor. It would be a shame for such a fantastic actor and Doctor to be once again confined to the past yet again. Even a web series would suffice!
This will probably never happen, but you never know unless you try!

Quick Update: It appears than none other than the 8th Doctor himself, Paul McGann, is one of the thousands of signatories. If the 8th Doctor's up for it, and all of you thousands of brilliant fans are up for it, then why can't this become a reality?

Geronimo!

Though his appearance as The Doctor was no longer than a mere breath in the history of the programme, for me this makes him the most mysterious doctor. It was actually the film that gave me my first glimpse into the who-nivese and i would have loved to have seen more of him as the Doctor. If the minisode was anything to go by then the 8th doctor deserves more screen time than he received and it has really left me with a thirst to see more! Even more minisodes would be awesome, and personally Moffats dislike of more than one doctor on TV at any one time shows extreme stubbornness and disconnect with fans, So BBC, give it a chance!

Its Paul McGann. Why wouldn't you sign it? Don't be ridiculous. He showed audiences the debonair Doctor we would come to get in 1996 but never quite got the exposure he was meant to get. Fast forward to 2013, then everyone loves him again. The Night of the Doctor was an important part of "the 50th", that its so addictive to watch again, mostly because of the reward seeing Eight finally back on our screens. Big Finish have done wonders with the Eighth Doctor audios and Paul's Doctor in those urges me to want to listen to more. He is a natural in the profession and is a natural Doctor. After seeing his performances again and listening to more of the audios, Paul is probably my Doctor. Let's have him for more!
