Oklahoma seems to be behind the times when it comes to liquor & strong beer. Selling more strong beer would result in more tax dollars for the state and bring in more local money.

Oklahoma's draconian liquor laws limit our inter-state commerce as well as our tourism image. Ours was the last state to end prohibition. Let's not be the last state to update our liquor laws as well. Store owners must be allowed to refrigerate strong beer and wine, and to sell merchandise related to those products, such as glassware, corkscrews and ice.

This would help keep purchases in OK instead of KS, MO, AR & TX. Product selection would increase as well as tax income.

As a retailer we are put at a disadvantage to not only other states, but to even our 3.2 competition. Out-of-townees do not easily buy warm beer and it would help our industry if we could cater to them as well.

This is important to me because i have to drive to Joplin, MO just to get beers from some of my favorite breweries.
