THIS IS A SERIOUS ANNOUNCEMENT
I need your support for the biggest change in Texas History beside joining the union, legalizing marijuana. Are you tried of seeing your mother, son, father, daughter, friends, and family members in general going to jail over a ounce or under of weed. Me too. Im not asking if you smoke weed, if you do cool, im just asking my native Texans to stand up for what you believe. Why cant we have the same rights as California, Colorado, Washington state, and more.... We have rights too, so today we  stand up for our rights. This law is the first one to go:

Possession of 2 ounces or less of marijuana is a Class B misdemeanor, punishable by up to 180 days imprisonment and a fine not to exceed $2000

Texas Statutes - Section 481.121:(1)

There have to be something small start off with in this is the best!!! So my fellow Texans lets stand up for our rights!!!!!!! This is our land! Period!! So lets take it back.

I would rather have a substance controlled by a professional than a drug dealer off the street who could be pushing more illicit drugs than weed for more money. We ended the prohibition on alcohol and we do not talk about problems with alcohol dealers or alcohol wars. The reason why marijuana can lead to other drugs is because the dealers on the streets are the only place to get marijuana. The dealers push more expensive and addictive drugs for more money in there pocket, creating another addict leading to a bigger burden on the medical system. The dealers do not care who they sell to or what they are selling. Legalize it and regulate it.

I suffer from chronic pain 24/7 and once watched a tv show filmed in Colorado that showed people who were getting relief from their pain after smoking medical marijuana.

Marijuana shouldn't be illegal. Alcohol, cigarettes, prescription drugs, and energy drinks do more harm to the body than marijuana.

Marijuana is less harmful than alcohol, it's ridiculous for Texas to continue to be living in the dark past. Time to get real and reap in the tax benefits!
