#StandWithMalala: Believe in ZERO girls denied an education

    1. Sponsored by

      U.S. Fund for UNICEF

On October 8, 2012, 14-year-old Pakistani schoolgirl Malala Yousafsai was shot with two other children as she was leaving school by bus. Why? Because she has been a tireless advocate for the right of all Pakistani girls to receive an education.

Our hearts are with Malala and her family, and our foremost concern is for her full recovery. What she needs now is our support. Sign the petition to stand with Malala and show you believe in ZERO girls denied an education.

We will share your signatures with UN Special Envoy Gordon Brown, who will meet with Pakistan’s President Zadari and U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon next month.

Let’s show Malala that we are behind her. Sign the petition to say you believe in ZERO girls denied an education and show that you stand with Malala.

Education is a basic human right and women and girls are entitled to the same human rights as men and boys and should therefore be given the same chance in life to be educated.

Education is vital to improving the quality of life for girls around the world. As someone who has been privileged to have access to higher education, it is my wish that every girl in the world has access to do the same!
