Our parks are essential to the St. Louis community. Our wildlife and preserved parks create memories for St. Louis families. It is time to take a stand and stop our government from taking away our right to enjoy Missouri outdoor experiences.

      Dear Friends,

I am writing to thank you for your support of our St. Louis County parks and readiness to band together to protect them.
As a lifelong St. Louis resident, I cannot envision our County without its parks. As a public official who considers his primary responsibility to be protecting the interests of those who call our County home, I am disheartened that our beautiful parks are being held hostage as a means of achieving a political agenda.
Government is supposed to work for you, and I am disappointed that our constituents should have to defend their interests themselves, rather than having leadership in place to serve that function.
I have been inspired by the willingness of so many County residents to fight for our parks, and encourage all residents to stand with me and make your voices heard.

      Chairman, St. Louis County Council

This park has meant so much to my family, friends and my husband and i...For generations it has been there for those of us who appreciate nature. Our future generation of children, grandchildren need these parks to teach them that there is more to this world than Computer Games, etc. Please, PLease, I beg our representatives to get to work and find a better way!!!

I go to this park with my husband and friends. It is beautiful, I do not feel that I am in St. Louis when I come here. It is a small retreat from reality where we can hike and enjoy the nature and wildlife.

Many people as well as myself enjoy equine activities and one of the only good places around the St. Louis County area to ride and enjoy our horses is Greensfelder park. This park is constantly packed with people who love to ride thier horses and it is a beautiful park to enjoy! This area needs all the parks it has!
