Move the new DuPuis Management Area Game Check Station

SFWMD and the DuPuis Managers failed to discuss the location of the new Game Check Station with the equestrian users. The current placement has removed prime camping spots and has blocked the view of three paddocks. Campers now cannot camp in front of the paddocks and have a view of their horses. Management has now further reduced the enjoyment of the Equestrian Campground by equestrians with the placement of the new Game Check Station. Moving the Game Check Station to the front entrance by the gate will allow hunters closer access to the Game Cleaning Facility and Carcass Pit. All other Water Management Areas have their Game Check Station at their entrance. This also allows new hunters entering the area to not have to search for the Game Check Station (currently hidden from entrance). This movement will benefit the hunters and return the campground serenity back to the equestrians.

Having a view of the horses in the paddocks is part of the wonderful experience of camping with your horse.

The ease of the hunters this way they will locate the station and for the horse people so they can use the area as intended.

This location now for the building is absolutely wrong and moving it will also benefit the hunters. I enjoy trail riding, camping and I enjoy WATCHING the wildlife, not dead...,cleaning it (not to mention, it blocking 3 paddocks from view of the campground) What about the flies the cleaning of the dead animal will attract??? Yes, horses can sense a dead animal and YES, it makes them VERY uncomfortable!!! We really don't camp there during hunting season but it just makes more sense to have it at the entrance. Seriously I don't understand how this wasn't thought out in the beginning?!?

The new location produce health hazard. Brucellosis and other disease can contaminate grass and spread disease in equine comunity
