The yearly slaughter of whales and dolphins in The Cove at Taiji in Japan has started. The Japanese government granted a licence until March 2013.
the killing methods are primitve, inhuman and in full view of all those awaiting death by slashing, including mothers and babies.
the meat is contaminated and poisonous yet they are selling for consumption
they know the world is in uproar against them. the japanese press yesterday showed a picture of a lone baby whale lost in a harbour. They said it had been "rescued" and taken to the fishing community of Taiji. The Cove Guardians confirm that no young whale was released. They did, however, see a tail fin being dragged to the butchery tent. So the Japanese news is hookwinking the public and trying to cover the whole thing up. It is time to SPEAK OUT. What they are doing outrages people from all over the world. They are set to poison their own people. They say their people know and accept this "fishing" practice, yet they print a smokescreen news story. Lies, deceit and murder.

On a moral ground: It is a life-form that has not transgressed against the human-counterpart.. It is living its life in a non-aggressive manner towards humans. It is sentient ( quite conscious of its existence) It has feeling and emotions. Such claims have been thoroughly demonstrated scientifically.

On an Economic, and practicality ground, it is not a safe product to consume, therefore diminishes its profit viability significantly.
