Sick Acts of Animal Cruelty in South Africa- Calling on the Government to Stand Up and Implement CHANGE

      Cape Town, South Africa

The South African government has one of the most incompetent justice systems worldwide whilst its lack of efficiency exacerbates the effects of animal abuse prevailing in our society.

Here, animals have been killed as part of gang initiations, including being boiled alive, having their feet cut off, being tied onto train tracks, being burnt alive or even being buried alive. These sick acts continue to manifest within the country as government authorities lack any recognisable involvement in implementing change.

Justice needs to be done and laws need to be established. Paying a small fine for such a sick criminal offence should not be accepted within today's society. Please help stand up for change within South Africa; the government needs to act, and it needs to act NOW!

Please SHARE this with as many people as possible!! Facebook, Tweets and Emails! :)

Another example of South Africa's cruelty, and this involving our very own ANC government. If they cannot lead by example, who will follow?

So I know this website isnt relating to my particular petition regarding South Africa but it does stand for the common thing we are all trying to fight against: ANIMAL ABUSE

This website is truly the most disturbing thing I have come across; please do not turn a blind eye to it dispite how disturbing it is- these things need to be recognized so that people all over the world can stand together in whatever ways they can to stop these sick acts of cruelty against animals.

Please share this petition and alert people to the updates: we can only fight this if we all stand together!!

    14. School Cleaner Who Rescued Dog From Being Buried Alive Fired

      Kirsty Nefdt
      Petition Organizer

"THE Khayelitsha school cleaner who alerted authorities after she heard a dog was being buried alive on a school’s sportsfield has been fired.

On October 20, the dog – later named Warrior – was hauled from a 1.5m deep pit at Luhlaza Secondary School in Khayelitsha. Breadwinner and mother of two Bukelwa Mbulawa worked as a cleaner in the school’s kitchen.

The principal, Manono Makhaphela, had allegedly ordered two janitors to “get rid” of the stray dog as it was regarded as a nuisance

Mbulawa said that as a group, the cleaners decided to alert animal welfare organisation International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW).

Mbulawa said she took the day off a week after Warrior was saved because she was ill, and when she returned last Friday she found out that she has been fired."

I am a huge dog lover and pitbull advocate. These disgusting people should have done to them what they've done unto these defenseless wonderful creatures.

This brutality needs to stop! This is sickening! What monsters do this? This is an innocent life that can't even defend itself! We need to advocate for their safety. People need to be held responsible for their sick cruelty and laws put in place for punishment to the full extent of the law.
