The Earth, our planet, is experiencing instability. We are having 8.0+ earthquakes with great frequency. Fission nuclear power plants pose a threat to life if they are caught in a disaster & their operators cannot control them. This we have seen in Japan recently. It was brought to the fore at that time that the nuclear power plant at Chernobyl is still melting down after 25 years. This is truly alarming, especially when we have other methods now of obtaining electricity. Please shut them down & urge other countries to do the same.

I heard on the news that we are considering building a nuclear reactor in

Utah. I have asked, "what will we do with the added nuclear waste and

what about what's happening in Japan"? The island and the surrounding

waters are now being contaminated. No response ! We just don't hear

much about what we are doing with nuclear waste. The major problem of nuclear waste is

what to do with it. In fact, the biggest expenses of the nuclear power

industry will be the storage of nuclear waste. Currently there are several

ways in which nuclear waste is handled. These methods are temporary.

A viable long-term solution for waste storage has yet to be found. This is

because the time period for storage is so long, on the order of thousands

of years. So far, I have heard over the years, we are using some of it

to produce “dirty” ammunition and bombs (already used in Iraq and

Afghanastan?) I personally talked with a

sailor in San Diego who was from a Nuclear powered Aircraft Carrier.

He revealed, that altho it is classified, we dump Nuclear Waste into the

ocean. Also we store it on railroad cars and shuffle it around the country

so it would be difficult to track how much and where it is. If we had a way

to recycle it we would be bragging about how we were doing it. Now they

want to bury it ! What about future seismic or volcanic activity ? What right

do we have to generate more nuclear waste for our children, grandchildren

and future generations ? Isn't the trillions of dollars of debt we are generating

enough for them? Where is the public outrage ? Where is our outrage ?

Can one of you "Word Smiths" pick this up and present it in such a way that it

      might inspire some outrage ?

Nuclear fission will not be better for our environment than renewable energy.

No nuclear is good nuclear, splitting Adam and splitting atom are hubris that dictate extinction, nature's balances, and our own (w)holistic, organic, somatic, communal ones determine the ability of solar energy to fuel our needs, the forests are our homes to, not just retreats- yet, necessary, however you view them. Technological advance as societal universal panacea, combined with the delusional construct of materialism, which doesn't exist, determine more and more people will embrace the corporate structure's convolution's devolutionary direction, especially over time; that combined with the oligarchies’ determining more and more cannibalistic devouring of our economies profits, will apply more and more pressure to unbecome into automatons, surviving instead of aliving- not only forgetting what life and human being is, also, giving up our inheritance of eternal life for humanity, that should also be our progenies’, for our cowering to our false-ego’s delusions, instead of being, Abhaya, Ghandi’s fearlessness. reality
