Email the CEO s of these companies and let them know you wont be shopping there this weekend. Be sure to tell them how much you wont be spending there:

If Corporations are "people, too my friend" then they should be kinder to their "family" of employees.

    2. What Thanksgiving means to Walmart

According to the Walmart website, this is what they think about Thanksgiving:
Walmart Thanksgiving. At Walmart, Thanksgiving is important to us, just like it is for you. Our Walmart Thanksgiving selection is priced to save you money with the great Every Day Low Prices you always get at Walmart. Thanksgiving costs less here, and at Walmart, Thanksgiving simply tastes better, too, thanks to our complete selection of Walmart Thanksgiving cookware and entertaining items for less.
At Walmart, Thanksgiving is about much more than just getting the stuff you need. A Walmart Thanksgiving is about getting the Thanksgiving essentials you need to make your friends and family feel special, at prices that will make you feel pretty good, too. That's the spirit of a Walmart Thanksgiving.
If Walmart as a Corporation "are people too, my friend", then they should be a better citizen. I will believe a Corporation is a person when one is executed in Texas...They are not being very kind to their "family".

      when does this madness end?
It takes YOU, the shopper, by refusing to shop on Thanksgiving.
The retailers are just interested in more and more profit, at the expense of their employees and shoppers sanities.

Black Friday only came to be because employers gave their hardworking employees the Friday after Thanksgiving off to be able to travel to see their familes. Now they have taken away the Holiday that made their Black sales numbers possible. Before long their will be no more holidays unless you are the CEO of a corporation.
