If not for the LCAC Facebook page and the daily posts and followers many animals would remain homeless, lost or would have lost their lives. When donations are urgently needed or the shelter is full a simple post goes up and the 7500+ followers spring into action to help. Without this beyond valuable asset our hands are tied to take the immediate action that is usually required. We respectfully ask that the wonderful people who ran the page be allowed to restore it to activity before the innocent ones in this situation, the animals, are the ones who are done the most harm.

For all the lost dogs, this helps those who are accidently lost, as well as those needing a new home, as well as the sweet cats. Exposure is key to adoption and it'll save the county money in terms of cutting back on euthanasia and other fees. God bless all those sweet babies.

Facebook is essential for communication in these busy times. Helping animals through a social network like facebook has saved thousands of animals and needs to be a tool used in the LCAC's adoption protocols. PLEASE reconsider!

I believe this page helped to find some of the animals new homes, helped to reunite some of the lost pets with their owners, helped to find foster homes for transition pets, and helped to raise awareness and donations for LCAC. I'm sure there is what sounds like a real reason why the page had to be deactivated, it is too bad all that help it was generating has to go to waste.

There is a better way to address inappropriate posts... it's called delete. But only if its inappropriate, not just something that express's their disagreement on a matter... that's FREE SPEECH!
