After you sign this petition please Sign this petition at http://www.democratz.org if you want to get congress to enact a $10 an hour minimum wage, The Employee Free Choice act, a real prescription drug benefit for Medicare in part B, an End to 2 expensive wars, a single payer government health insurance plan, Tier 5 unemployment benefits extension, A social security COLA Payment, an end to tax cuts for the wealthy, an end to Republican filibusters and the Women's freedom of choice act into law.

For those Liberal and Progressive Democrats who like President Obama but just cannot vote for him because President Obama admitted in an interview that at heart he appears a conservative Blue Dog Democrat  and he did everything to discourage real progressive liberal legislation to get enacted in the area of Health care, medicare and social security and in other areas and did very little to get the Democratic Party to enact such legislation.

I have decided to vote for Senator Tom Harkin of Iowa for President in 2012, unless all the legislation mentioned in the following text below gets enacted into law.

For those progressive and liberal Democrats please see:

If you want to stop the rule of corporations in the legislation process, then petition the corporations for the legislation you want.

This is a matter that has me very worried. Yes we need to do something about the direction our country is headed in. We need to somehow hold the flame to President Obama's feet.

You think it's bad under Obama? Surely you realize the hell that would break loose if a republican was president, don't you? See my dilemma? Wouldn't Harkin in 2012 be a spoiler for the election; dividing democrat's votes, thus making it that much easier for a republican to slither their way into the White House? Wouldn't a 2016 bid be a better strategy?

I am disappointed in Obama and his conservative approach to governing. I would be MORE disappointed if a republican won the white house. They have gone beyond conservative and are positively puritanical, with hints of fascism thrown in for good measure. I don't want to take my country back; I want to move it forward!

I would appreciate any constructive comments on this matter. Thanks!
