A 65-year study was published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition (Vol. 86,p.1722) that showed children who regularly consume dairy products triple their lifetime risk of our most deadly cancer (colorectal). All other factors (meat intake, fruit and vegetable intake, and socioeconomic status were accounted for).

Having breast cancer has woken me up to the main cause of most cancers in the Western cancer epidemic - meat and dairy consumption. Please promote a vegan diet, for the health of individuals, and for the health of the planet (a vegan diet uses much less land and water per capita, a meat/dairy diet monopolises poor countrys' grains and soy to feed to food animals, thus contributing to third world poverty and starvation).

The Harvard Nurses Health Study established clearly that the primary health claim (that milk builds strong bones) for cow milk products is false. In fact, those who consumed the most dairy calcium, over an 18 year period, had double the hip fracture rate of those who consumed the least.
