Sarah Duffy: As a team, many concerned students took a stand for our education and our future!

Saving the ZHS Spanish program is very important to many students at Zephyrhills. Spanish is a commonly spoken language throughout the state of Florida. Many students are going to be denied to a classroom styled Spanish class. The only option would be to take a Spanish course online. We feel that to become fluent speakers, a student needs the one-on-one experience, the ability to have their questions answered quickly and our understandings to be widened. After all, how much can anyone really learn from a computer screen?

To:
Mr. Andrew Frelick, Principal at ZHS
Mr. Kurt Browning, Superintendent
Allow students a Spanish education in a classroom setting.

Sincerely,
[Your name]

Why would you deny your students the opportunity to learn Spanish?

At a time that Florida is looking to be the gateway to Latin American Commerce. It would make sense we prepare our students to be tomorrow's leaders.
