Save Missing E!

    1. Petition by

      John Hughes

      PARKVILLE, MD

Tumblr was intended to be an open blogging platform. Missing E is a browser extension that uses an API and client-side script to improve the interface and add/improve features. Many users have found their experience to be many times better because of it. However, Tumblr feels the need to unnecessarily harass the developers for their use of the API, for reasons still mysterious. For this reason, the extension has been scrapped until further notice. Please help show your support for Missng e.

Please note: I have created this petition as a concerned user and I do not in any way represent the opinions of the creators, owners, or affiliates of the Missing e suite of scripts and extensions.

Tumblr is doing it wrong, fix your network to handle the load, don't bully developers to lighten it. I work for a firm that can help them fix it. www.urbacon.net we are world leaders in data facility infrastucture. We CAN help, so Missing E can stay. Just call.

Tumblr needs to stop being a douche and realize that the only reason they are so against "missing e" is because it is providing accessibility that they failed to incorporate. Do not shut down missing e, please.

Tumblr is pushing people to use Google + instead of Tumblr. Tumblr's About page says, "Tumblr lets you effortlessly share anything." Yet, at this time, something as simple as reblogging your own post is only possible via Missing e.
