This is one of the only free festivals around...and it introduces young and old to new music. It builds community spirit, and was announced by the council as replacing, in part, Balloons over Basingstoke (which was also canned).

This free music event gives people the opportunity to experience music they would not normally listen too and broaden their 'music tastes'. It also gives bands the opportunity to share their work with people
