Anson a 400 lb Black bear has a snare wrapped around his neck since August. CBC reported that The Minstry of Natural Resources has done all it could do to remove the snare. They state that because of 40 other bears in the area and the fact that Anson is overweight and difficult to sedate, the situation is too dangerous for conservation officers to try again.

We are asking you to engage wildlife experts to try again to remove the snare around Anson's neck. Please end his suffering and help him.

Still trying for an update on Anson. More than 650 caring people have signed this petition to help one black bear in trouble. I cannot express my joy that with all the petitions out there that so many care about Anson. Indeed we are a global tribe when people across the world sign a petition to help one animal in trouble. I will continue to try for an update. I am not concerned about reaching 2,000. I believe the response has been awesome and hope to find out the current situation. Wish I lived closer to Ontario but I live on the East Coast. Hope for news early next week. Thanks for your support.

It is hard to believe that they cannot sedate this bear and remove the snare. He will die if nothing is done, please help this beautiful animal.

You must try to end the pain of this innocent animal. Surely the effort is worth it. Pain for any animal is the same as for a human, as we all have the same biological parts, nervous system, etc. Please help this innocent being suffering both emotional and physical pain.
