San Francisco's Mayor Ed Lee and Board of Supervisors

Fund a 3% wage increase for all SF city-funded nonprofit workers

    1. Petition by

      SF Nonprofit

Our city's nonprofit workers work tirelessly to provide critical services that take care of our community and our families.

Now it's our turn to help them. SF's nonprofit workers are finding it increasingly difficult to care for themselves and their own families. Rising costs and the state of the global economy are jeopardizing their very livelihood. Nonprofit workers are losing their homes and are struggling to put food on the table.

This petition appeals to Mayor Lee and the Board requesting the following two line items to be placed on the Mayor's budget.

1. 3% cost of doing business adjustment for city-funded nonprofits
2. 3% cost of living adjustment for city-funded nonprofit employees

Let's show them the same compassion that they show our communities every day. By signing you can influence San Francisco's decision makers and make a 3% increase possible.

Time is running out. Tomorrow is the last day of the 3% increase fight for nonprofits. Please sign this petition today!

I have worked for non profits my whole career. The fact that we non profit workers in SF have not had significant raises is just not fair!

Working in the nonprofit sector for 28 years: continually partnering with the city on intiatives and projects to improve the community and support some of our most disenfranchised citizens.. I feel 3% is not less than fair and more than reasonable request. it is the decent thing to do. thank you.

I am a psychiatric NP in the tenderloin. I choose to accept the 25% and upwards salary cut I take by working in an SF CBO rather than government or private sector but that pay gap grows at least 5-10% every year. My client's want me here, I want to be here but can I afford it?
