Appoint Paul Schrader Sheriff of San Bernardino County

We can not miss this opportunity to take back a small portion of our liberty. Paul Schrader came in second place behind the retiring sheriff in the last sheriff's election. It seems inappropriate to leave this decision in the hands of a few elected officials rather than in that of the people. Because of this continuing trend (54 years), which allows the San Bernardino County Sheriff to retire half way through his term and recommend an appointment of the new sheriff to the Board of Supervisors. We are asking for transparency and for the people who voted in the last sheriff's election to be heard. We are urging each of you to vote for a special election or the appointment of Paul Schrader. So please, help us in this struggle to create a fair means of election rather than a direct political appointment by a single person.

Paul is an outstanding constitutionalist. We need more sheriffs like him!

My cat was stolen from Bakersfield in an RV & ended up @ the Devore Shelter, but by the time I found his notice online & checked if I had the right cat, they told me he had been rescued. None of the rescues in S.B.County knew of my Polydactyl Manx being rescued! His pic showed him very ill 2 days

We need someone in that position to watch very closely over the Devore Shelter and make sure they are complying with every law that applies to them according to the statutes of the state of California and their county.

Honor the votes of the people, not the wants of one retiring sheriff. Thanks

A pro-animal top official can definitely save more lives of animals in the shelter
