Jim Croce (1943 - 1973) was a talented musician and songwriter who was taken from us way too soon. His hit songs, such as "Time in a Bottle" and "Bad Leroy Brown" have lived on and withstood the test of time. He is a member of the Songwriters' Hall of Fame and won Favorite Male Artist - Pop / Rock at the 1973 American Music Awards. Jim has four Gold Albums: You Don’t Mess around with Jim, Life and Times, I Got a Name, and Photographs and Memories.

Give Jim Croce the honor he deserves by putting him amongst his peers in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Good morning and thank you to all supporters of this petition! Please help spread the word.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the only info I have access to is your name, city and state. If there is any other info, I haven't found it and I have no intention of looking for it. My only interest here is to get Jim Croce inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

      Onward and upward!

I have grown up listening to Jim Croce. I currently am 21 and I listen to Jim all the time and never get sick of him. His music has taught me so much. I will choose to listen to Jim Croce over any artist of today's era, no one else compares.

Jim Croce was an amazing musician and songwriter who put his whole heart into everything he wrote and performed. I was born in 1983 but his music has touched me for as long as I can remember. He is an inspiration to many and his albums stand the test of time. I have yet to meet anybody who has not known the name Jim Croce. I believe this is why he should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I only wished they could have put his name in earlier

Why has it taken so long for Jim to be reconized as one of the greatest singer/sonwriters of our time?

I love Jim Croce, his music transcends time and generations. In my opinion if alive today, he would be considered one of the greatest American songwriters. He did play with Carol King, James Taylor, etc back when they were starting out. Please induct Jim.
