The NDAA Bill authorizes the indefinite detention of American citizens without due process guaranteed by the 6th Amendment in our U.S. Constitution. Our President and these Senators failed to act appropriately to our demands that they NOT support or sign the NDAA Bill, they did so regardless of their oaths of office to defend, support, and uphold the U.S. Constitution. We demand their impeachment.

See NDAA:

President Obama although he stated he would veto the bill; actually he only meant he would veto it if his totalitarian authority was not implicit in the language of the bill. He wanted it to begin with.

This is just the continuation of a very carefully thought and executed program by the elitist bankers and corporatist looters to finally establish a total world dictatorship. Like Mahatma Gandhi though - I am willing to give my life for individual liberty for all - but I am not willing to raise my hand in violence to anyone to achieve this goal. Violence will only beget more violence.

Instead, I am advocating that all of us who are willing to give our lives for the cause of Liberty employ the principles of Aikido to accomplish this heroic goal. Here is a quote from Wikipedia about Aikido:

"Aikido (合気道 Aikidō?) is a Japanese martial art developed by Morihei Ueshiba as a synthesis of his martial studies, philosophy, and religious beliefs. Aikido is often translated as "the Way of unifying (with) life energy"[1] or as "the Way of harmonious spirit."[2] Ueshiba's goal was to create an art that practitioners could use to defend themselves while also protecting their attacker from injury.[3][4]

Aikido is performed by blending with the motion of the attacker and redirecting the force of the attack rather than opposing it head-on. This requires very little physical strength, as the aikidōka (aikido practitioner) "leads" the attacker's momentum using entering and turning movements. The techniques are completed with various throws or joint locks.[5]"

I am not a practitioner of Akido physically but spiritually I am absolutely committed to the way of peaceful defense of myself, my loved ones and my country. I am asking everyone involved in protecting ourselves from these misguided power-mongers to please reject violence as a means of winning this battle and let's all come up with a more rational and peaceful way to do this. Gandhi did it against odds and powers at least as great as our own right now. We can also.

I am signing this petition because the NDAA legislation is in direct violation of the 6th Amendment guarantees of the Constitution!
