The Indigenous peoples of Canada have been oppressed by the government through federal policy and legislation since the confederation of this country. This needs to stop. By signing this petition, you are expressing your support for the Indigenous peoples of Canada to assert their right to self-determination and draft legislation that is in accordance with their own values, beliefs, and governance systems.
