My child was hurt at daycare years ago and I have been a stay at home mom ever since. When my baby was hurt I filed a report and the daycare was cited for several reasons one of which was not notifying me of the injury. I picked up my baby from the daycare and his eye was bleeding and swollen shut and had been for several hours. 2 months after my report the same daycare was cited for the same issue. The mom didn't know that the childcare was cited and may have chosen to remove her children from care before they were hurt.

I have a child in child care and all though I believe my care taker would alert me, i believe it should be mandatory.
