Remove Madison as a DJ on XM Radio

    1. Petition by

      Courtney White

      Henrico, VA

XM Radio has been through many changes in the past couple of years. After merging with Sirius Radio, all who listened hoped for the best of both worlds. Unfortunately, Madison is still on Sirius/XM radio. She is on 2 channels: Alt Nation and 1st Wave. Since this is the case, we lose two stations that we cannot listen to because she is annoying, rude, crude, doesn’t talk about current music, unprofessional, and is very disrespectful to her listeners.

Some examples of her unprofessionalism are:

  • She yells into the microphone
  • She sings
  • She talks about her private parts, flatulence, and child
  • She speaks her opinions of bands (current and past)
  • She does not give her listeners correct information about the bands

There are numerous social media groups online and they constantly complain about her and threaten to leave Sirius/XM Radio. One Facebook group is "I Loathe Madison on Sirius/ XM radio".

We have read that Sirius/ XM radio DJs are “Master music programmers and on-air personalities, who are true experts, host our music. They back up the music with compelling information about the song being played.” I respect this fact. I can tell you this is certainly not the case with Madison. If anyone is driving with children in their car, they cannot listen to Alt Nation and 1st Wave when Madison is on the air.

Please sign the petition to help get DJ Madison off of Sirius/XM Radio and get an informative, well respected DJ in her place. We don't want her fired, just off the air. If this ends up being something she can do, that would also solve the problem.

She is rude and insults her listeners. Either she needs to learn how to use a filter or just stop attempting to make the shows all about her personal life. Being told that the DJ "despises twenty-two year olds" is a little off putting as the majority of listeners are late teens to late twenty year olds. Saying that she can't make fun of Morrissey due to his health condition is also disrespectful.

I've never seen such a bunch of cry babies. If you don't like Madison, Change the channel for god's sake. She is informative, zany, and really knows a lot about the music and artists and so much better than the local DJ's here in Rhode Island and Boston. I renewed my subscriptions for the last 6 years just for her and Howard of course. She is exactly why I pay for radio. should stand for CHANGE the friggin channel. #GrowUp
