In the "Personhood Bill" the state of Oklahoma is defining that life begins at conception. While I know that many of us would choose perhaps not to have an abortion, it does not make it appropriate to tell other women what they can and cannot do with their own bodies. In this bill, the state would now have the power to prosecute a woman for Murder if she in fact has an abortion or even all of those women that had to use in-vitro that have fertilized eggs that may go unused. This bill is archaic and does not have the best interest of women in mind, but those who would like to take the option away from women to take care of themselves. Not to mention that there is no exception in the case of Rape, Incest or a woman's life being put in peril due to pregnancy complications.
