President of the United States

Select Elizabeth Warren as Keynote Speaker @ DNC Convention 2012

    2. Petition by

      John Hay

Elizabeth Warren offers clearly communicated solutions to a range of critical national problems. As a result, she has captured the hearts and minds of people from all walks of life across the United States. Her supporters greatly appreciate that she speaks for the 99% not the 1%. Her magnificent achievement in creating the new United States Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) now provides a legal bulwark to ensure that people’s financial investments are better safeguarded from corporate corruption. A Harvard University Law Professor, Elizabeth Warren is a candidate for the United States Senate in the State of Massachusetts.

As a brilliant Democratic Party candidate and popular communicator Dr Warren is ideally qualified to speak in support of Democratic Party policy and to address current issues which could decide the general election.

Elizabeth's achievements have earned the President's respect and support; but we also need to appreciate that defeating the GOP in the Massachusetts Senate race, is critical to the larger task of regaining control of Congress.

The campaign benefit of having Elizabeth Warren speak nationally from the DNC Convention podium as Keynote Speaker on behalf of all Democrats, in the 'War against Women', needs no amplification or explanation.

May I invite you to help spread the word and email the petition link and message to your friends and groups.

      Thank You
      John

Taxing the rich at a higher rate than the middle class and the poor still provides for all their lifestyle choices as opposed to the current uneconomic and unfair system, which sees families struggling, or having no life choices at all.

When enough people have income above their day to day expenses, an economy flourishes, and employment opportunities open up. When reasonable disposable income is mainly confined the very rich, the effect is precisely the opposite.

I invite you to sign the petition for the people's financial champion Elizabeth Warren to deliver a powerful message on the subject of inequality at the DNC National Convention.

Your support is needed to make this a reality. Please spread word of this petition far and wide.

      Thank You
      John

In this Update, I wanted to share with you a few more details concerning Professor Elizabeth Warren.

36 hours ago I posted a small article in a diary at Daily Kos. I hope it shows what a master stroke in political strategy it would be, if Dr Warren is chosen to deliver the DNC Convention Keynote address at Charlotte NC in September.

The article is titled 'America's Elizabeth the First? Anything is possible in politics. Who knows? In signing the petition you may have booked a place in your country's political history!

A kind supporter on Twitter suggested we were engaged in a 'noble cause'. How about that? Hope it makes you feel good too!

      My Best Wishes

    7. Women's Rights Vs Limbaugh's Wrongs .. My first diary memo in Daily Kos

Thank you for taking a first step toward having Elizabeth Warren considered and hopefully selected to deliver the Keynote address at the DNC Convention in Charlotte NC in September.

Following the loss of Mr Obama's mother at 52 years of age, strong, intelligent women remain a great source of encouragement and inspiration in the President's life, His five minute personal call to support student Sandra Fluke is further evidence of the deep respect and regard America's leader has for all women.

Rush Limbaugh attacks on Ms Fluke and the GOP's abhorrent treatment of this young woman is an urgent reminder that the country needs to hear much more about the rights of women from strong intelligent women in politics.

Who better than a leading women's advocate, Dr Elizabeth Warren, to lead that charge? And what better election platform could one propose than that of Keynote Speaker at the 2012 DNC National Convention?

Please promote your petition. And win for America!

      John

She is the best representative of the "regular people" we have. She can speak to anybody, anywhere and not make them feel intimidated by her intelligence. Love her!

There is nobody more in touch with Americans than Elizabeth Warren. Don't choose anybody with style. This party needs SUBSTANCE and somebody with perseverance. Her message has been the same since she announced her candidacy. People want to hear what she has to say.
