Current Policy of Burmese Government is very worrying as government is saying behind the scene while vigilantes and Buddhists radical extremists are leading the operation to expel all Rohingya out of their ancestral land. This has been proven by the handling of government in to the crisis. It has tolerated all kinds of hate speech, publications, and even allowing to hold demonstrations to expel all Muslim out of Burma. U Thein Sein government has systematically created an atmosphere of anti Muslim or Islamophobia to gain momentum of Rohingya ethnic cleansing.

Since June, 2012, Vigilantes and Buddhist extremist radical asked all public to involve attacking Muslim villages and towns to expel them from their ancestral land while giving assurance immunity of any legal action. Some reluctant Buddhist people are threatened as traitors. Muslim villages and residential area are unilaterally attacked by burning houses, raping woman, and killing people. When Rohingya Muslim defend themselves, Government declared martial law and restricted Muslim not to retaliate while Vigilante and Buddhist extremists are keeping burning houses with security provided. The operation of ethnic cleansing was slow down during UN general Assembly and accelerated after meeting was over with the impression that the international communities including USA will tolerate ethnic cleansing in Burma.

As a result, 100,000 people are internally displaced or homeless, more than 300 people are reported dead by state media but actual number are much higher than those number. Nine cities of Arakan became free of Rohingya towns and State capital Sittwe become completely segregated society where Muslim Rohingya are pushed out of town to live in refugee camps. Their access to town is cut off completely. Remaining Rohingya villages are siege where no one is allowed to go in or out. They are not having access to international aids, jobs, hospital, clinic or markets, and cemetery to burry dead. They will die with hunger and starvation if nothing is done to open the siege.

President Obama! Please remember your obligation to save innocent Rohingya lives from genocide and ethnic cleansing as you have promise to America public that you will never give political and trade interest above the right of religious and ethnic minorities. You must speak to President U Thein Sein that it is not ok to violate basic fundament right of Muslim Minority in Burma while maintaining good relationship with USA. Most importantly, please send a clear message to Burmese Government, Civil, Political, and Religious leaders that America will never tolerate ethnic cleansing and genocide in Burma despite of having trade and diplomatic interest.
