Dear President Obama,
Before you were elected, you said you would "label genetically modified food because Americans have the right to know what is in their food."
It has been four years and you have the opportunity now to honor your word.
The best gift you could give Mothers across America is the ability to know what is in their food and the freedom to choose to eat genetically modified foods or not. Many of us see evidence that our children react to genetically modified food with rashes, behavioral outbreaks, and fear inflammation that may be leading to GERD, Autism,Autoimmune dieases, IBS and allergies, but we cannot effectively avoid GMOs and care for our children, if we do not know that they are in our food.
We are requesting that, after the fiscal budget is resolved, in the spring, that you give us this gift of hope and change that you promised and put Labeling GMOs back on the agenda. Please make 2013 the year you honor your word.
Thank you,
America and American Moms

I am a food manufacturer. The products I sell are certified organic & GMO free. I believe that people should have the right to know what is in the food they buy and I believe growing numbers of people want to know. If we allow Mansanto and other mega food manufactures to continue their practices no food in this country will be safe for human consumption.

I believe that we have the right to know what is being put into our food, so we can decide for ourselves and for our families what we put into our bodies.
