Help to change the Federal prison system from 85 percent to 65 percent

This is important because my fiance is incarcertated for a federal crime but it is non violent. I believe non violent offenders should have a second chance and should not have to serve out 85 percent of there time as a violent offender would.

I have a son that has been locked up for 6years and got locked up at age 17 and this was his first time going to prison and he receive life without parole. My son was also placed in lock up where he was assault by another inmate that was a m.I he is m.e.. The person was 100lbs bigger than him. He had end up going to the hospital because he got knock out and suffer head injury and stitches under his eye i fell the prison system sucks and as long as it's not them nor their family members they can careless how they're treated plus whatever happens to them i feel it's not fair!

This is so insane why haven't this been done already?! It's time for chance and Obama has promised many things this is a change that needs to be executed for non-violent crimes. Stop waiting our tax dollars when it can be avoided but doing this for non violent crimes!
