PHH Mortgage is wrongfully and illegally forclosing on families homes.
Here is a link to a complaint site with hundreds of people who have been dealing with PHH for years trying to save their homes, and many losing the fight.
http://phhmortgage.wordpress.com/your-phh-mortgage-complaints/ .  They will not "modify" your loan if you ask they WILL foreclose on you with out any notice even though you are current on your payments! watch your local paper for the sheriff sale date! DO not attempt to modify your loan with them!

PHH foreclosed on my home and took it to auction the next week with an asking bid that equalled the last cash offer a buyer made on the property. No one bid. This proves my realtor's assertion to PHH that our buyer was offering fair market value. We sent up numerous offers to PHH while aggressively marketing the home for seven months. PHH sat on the offers for months, failing to respond. PHH demanded higher offers for most while the market continued to decline. Now my house is on the market at a price and mortgage payment I could have afforded if they would have modified my loan when I originally requested it due to hardship. We must put this company out of business. They do not act in good faith at all.

PHH is dishonest and we have been lied to and hung up on numerous times in trying to get our loan modified by them. We are now trying to short sale, but are worried they will foreclose on the house

They took our home after months of giving us the run around of they are working on it or that there systems are being updated. We found out by junk mail that our house was up for sale 4 days before it was sold and in that 4 days they said they would fax or email the paper work that they never gave us and never did!!
