Victory! After over 37,000 people signed Sabrina Lamb's petition asking Oxygen to drop their offensive "All My Babies' Mamas" reality show, the network announced it will not be moving forward with plans for the show.

"Your support of our coalition's petition means that this moment in television history is your shared victory. Please never forget the power that you have to lobby to create value in the world. Your overwhelming support has been heartfelt. I have read each of your emails before they were delivered to the CEO of NBC/UNIVERSAL/COMCAST. Our Coalition determines our next steps, please stand by. United...we can never be defeated."

A coalition of groups joined Sabrina's fight -- the Parents Television Council, Rap Rehab, Industry Ears, Black Men in America, Mo' Kelly and Ulysses Slaughter. After rumors of a cancellation surfaced, Oxygen refused to confirm the show's demise for days, finally bowing to pressure after Sabrina hand-delivered 37,000 signatures to Oxygen's NYC office, and other members of the coalition delivered the signatures to Oxygen's LA office and Comcast's Philadelphia headquarters.

This is not just an attack on African-American parents and children....but ALL PARENTS AND CHILDREN!

As dysfunctional and violent as so-called reality shows are, could you ever imagine a one hour spectacle where 11 children are forced to witness their 10 unwed mothers clamor for financial support, emotional attention and sexual reward from Shawty-Lo, the apathetic ‘father’?

Could you imagine that Oxygen Media, known for violent programming targeting young women with stereotypical images, would consider the embarrassment that these children will experience, being used as entertainment?

Could you imagine that Oxygen Media, would use a slur against mothers, fathers and children and entitle this debacle, “All My Babies’ Mamas”? Cori Abraham, Oxygen Media, Senior Vice President of Development wrote in a press release: “…..over-the-top moments that our young, diverse female audience can tweet and gossip about….leaving the man of the house to split his affection multiple ways while trying to create order… but sharing your man with several opinionated women is bound to create issues.”

 Tragically, this day has come.

What is the difference between this train wreck and the other reality trash which clog the airwaves?

And it is these children...our children who will hold all of us accountable by allowing them to be exploited, internationally, in this manner. Our children will suffer from these negativity and for someone like you standing up for them and saying:

What You Can Do?

"Sign today to tell Oxygen that their viewers will not tolerate a show that exploits and stereotypes Black children and families, and we will boycott any advertiser who chooses to support the show."

Join RapRehab.com, BlackMenInAmerica.com, The Mo'Kelly Report/The Mo'Kelly Show, MyBrownBaby.com, Ulysses "Butch" Slaughter of The Odyssey Project, Truth in Reality and other influential individuals like YOU...by signing this petition and forward to your friends, family and colleagues. And make sure that everyone in your household stands up.

With your voice...this ugliness will not see international airwaves.

That's great! So happy to see that the show never aired. Now let's work on getting 16 and pregnant of the air.

Here they go once again, wasn't there a petition before, I remember signing one previously. This is a shame, any opportunity WHITE

CORPORATIONS get a chance to make us look bad they jump

right on it. I hope this show does not make the air. They all should

be a shame of themselves. What we will do for a dollar!

I am a long time educator who has been married to a good, strong black man for 31 years. We are parents of two well balanced, educated, successful and self supporting young men who just happen to be respectful of black women. I am so tired of the negative images of African Americans being blasted across the media as the norm. We are not what they are trying to portray. We are more than that in so many, many ways. I do not support this show at all. Stop degrading our race!

I am so glad that my signature counted for something. Even the name of that show is an embarrassment to the black community. I'm still upset that this was even an idea in someone's head.
