Open Letter to NHL & NHLPA

    1. Petition by

      Mike Fraser

      New Westminster, Canada

We as NHL hockey fans are currently dissatisfied with the pace, candor and urgency of the current negotiations to deliver a new collective bargaining agreement between the NHL & NHLPA by the September 15, 2012 deadline. This letter is meant convey our dissatisfaction to the NHL and NHLPA and to serve as reminder that FANS are in fact your most important partner in generating revenue.

If both the NHL and NHLPA within 10 days of this petition being delivered do not assign more urgency and focus to the current labor negotiations, I as an undersigned fan will act by A) Vigorously boycotting any NHL & NHLPA merchandise B) Vigorously boycotting any major sponsors of the NHL and NHLPA C) Contact all major media partners of the NHL and NHLPA and voice my displeasure with the current state of labor negotiations.

We the undersigned fans will accept nothing short of a full 2012/2013 hockey season delivered on time and with an amicable Collective Bargaining Agreement in place.

First i'm sorry for my bad english. It's just the fairness at the fans, we are the ground of the building of the nhl. We deliver the Money for this huge organisation and we want to see worldclass Icehockey for our money. Also it is a question of image for all Hockey leagues and players in this world...

Hockey is Canada's game and the fastest game on the planet. It's what most Canadians live for during the venerable cold of our winters. Yes this game is the fastest when, played but it seems the slowest when negotiating labor deals. We the fans are whom ultimately decide if the game is successful or not. Why act as if there is no impunity for your disrespect to the customers. You say you love the game, but put yourselves in the shoes of the consumer. The customer as they say is always right... Don't deprive the planet of the great product that is the NHL.

Billionaires and millionaires arguing over money. Just get a deal done so we don't have to listen to any more lying about how much you care about the fans.
