Jami Keeble: Everyone involved in this case and that signed this petition made this possible!! I kept e-mailing this to the senate and we had local new story's over this ! It is to late to use this system to help find JaRay, but now maybe another family won't have to go through what we are. Thank you everyone

My cousin JaRay Wilson,16 years old, has been missing since the 15th of October. She is suspected to have been sold into Human Trafficking. She does not qualify for an Amber Alert because For an AMBER Alert to be effective in recovering a missing child, the law enforcement agency must have enough information to believe that an immediate broadcast to the public will enhance the efforts of law enforcement to locate the child and apprehend the suspect. This element requires as much descriptive information as possible about the abducted child and the abduction, as well as descriptive
information about the suspect and the suspect’s vehicle. Issuing alerts in the absence of significant information that an abduction has occurred could lead to abuse of the system and ultimately weaken its effectiveness, Runaways are just as important. She is now considered an endangered runaway, we just a few days ago got her search nationwide. Her life is just as important to us as any other child. I feel if there had been a nationwide alert a lot sooner, we would have already found her. Her mother and father want her home just as bad as any other parent of a missing child would. We all love her and miss her so much.

It shouldn't matter how long a child is missing, police should immediately look for them! Police say that you should wait 24 hours before you call 911, but have they ever thought that the child might be long gone or even dead before that?

I did a report on human trafficking for school and it broke my heart hearing these girls stories. Something needs to be done so that these poor girls are not victims to this horrible crime anymore.

I lived in Weatherford and went to school at the College there. Even if I don't know the girl or her parents, she is still missing and that is reason enough for me.
