    2. White House/US silence on man-made climate change is a global disgrace!

With climate change denial still part of the US Republican party platform, with the US corn crop failing, with temperatures soaring to new record highs at an alarming rate, where is the leadership that we deserve to see from the White House?

President Obama should realize that he has the opportunity of a lifetime to become a global hero by bringing Americans up to speed on climate change, and what we can do together to address it. He can point out that the GOP path forward leads to hell and high water for millions, if not billions of people, while his plan (to be outlined) will assure Americans of jobs, peace, and a livable climate.

US Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid recently gave the type of speech that President Obama should be giving--from the Oval Office, on prime time television--a "State of the Climate Address." Other democratic senators have done this, including Senators Franken, Kerry, Sanders and Whitehouse. A link to this story on Climate Progress is found below.

    3. President Obama: Show Climate Leadership on Earth Day, Sunday, April 22nd.

Sunday, April 22nd is Earth Day. This is a perfect day for President Obama to show US and world leadership on climate change. Please call 202-456-1111 to suggest this idea to the president.

Many people have looked to the United States for global leadership against the forces of evil, ever since the critical US role in winning World War II. Now, more than ever, the world needs global leadership to counter the money being spent by the fossil fuel industry to preserve the status quo.

Man-made climate change is happening now, and must be dealt with now, to prevent dire near-term problems such as crop failures. We can only motivate people to act if they know what is at stake.

That is why we need US presidential leadership on this issue. People are mislead by the PR efforts of those who benefit from the burning fossil fuels. President Obama could clear up the confusion.

So, please encourage your (Facebook and other) friends to sign this petition, and to make the call.

      Thank you!

    4. Mother Eaarth is starting to get a BIT 'angry' about rising CO2 levels and warming temperatures. We don't want to see her get really upset, by letting climate change continue unabated. Please encourage everyone to sign our petition at

    5. A bit of climate progress: When signing up for the White House Daily Snapshot email, the climate (along with energy) was listed among only three choices for a subscriber's key areas of interest. Next, we need to get Obama to have climate listed as an official 'issue' on the WH site!

    6. Woohoo! Obama's becoming more of a climate hawk! This week he gave a speech mentioning "carbon pollution" and "climate change" in the same sentence. Let's redouble our efforts: ask perfect strangers to sign our petition, then call Obama to thank him, 9-5, M-F at 1-202-456-1111.

    7. Why the Senate's Renewable Electricity Standard Stinks

Last week, environmentalists were treated to the glorious news that two of our esteemed Senators had introduced a bill to require that electric utilities produce 15 percent of their power from renewable sources by 2021.
      When I learned of this...

It's time to stop denying the importance of climate change and start doing something about it.

People are still dreaming to our governments to STOP polluting Earth immediately and seek for CLEAN and renewable sources. How many times do we have to ask? Why do they still pollute our Planet? Just because if they change to clean sources will affect their economy? Global Warming is the stupidity of mankind!

I'm just hoping it does not happen a tragedy so they can act.

The governments have their own houses to live and if there is a trash on their ground, they clean. But what our planet, which is our house, our home, will they clean the trash?

We live in cruel but beautiful world. God created it so we live peacefully and to treat our mother nature with pureness. We dream an Earth without corruption, violence and discrimination.

A simple demand would no longer be sufficient. We need a massive and meaningful demand to our governments, That is the difference beyond any other that man's history has ever known. Put Law on those who are ignoring our requests and star acting now.

Act on Climate Treaty immediately! For our children and for our future!
