No Water Rate Increase

      Cynthia Robbins

      Lake Station, IN

The water that comes to our homes is undrinkable, unhealthy, and damaging to our plumbing. The water pressure to our fire hydrants is questionable throughout the city making emergency services uncertain, and until a acceptable plan with federal assistance is in place, along with the services of Indiana American Water Company, Lake County, Gary, IN, any increase is unacceptable to the customers of the City of Lake Station Water Department.

Undrinkable water exists in third world countries. America should not have undrinkable water! There is an "illness cluster in Lake Station" that the governement (Feds. and Local) that refuse to acknowledge. Lake Station obtains water via a well system. The EPA & DNR has already confirmed the fish caught in Lake County are uneatable due to toxins. Water tables obtain water from the water in Lake Station/County. The water tables "feed" the wells that supply water to us, the children, the elderly, the disabled, the schools. Please help us protect our children, parents, grandparents, etc., from potentlial diseasses/illness!
