Support Diabetes Awareness in Nov. by having players wear blue ribbons.

This is important because we want to raise awareness about diabetes and the differences between type 1 and type 2 (and other rarer types seldom mentioned such as LADA, NDM, and MODY) so that people and medical professionals will recognize signs/symptoms and to help dispel myths surrounding this prominent health issue.

Sincerely,

I have diabetes and feel that it is just as important as Breast cancer and needs your help. I think you should also have the players wear gloves and towels representing Diabetes and auction them off. Just like for Breast cancer. Think how nice it would be to have a cure. Thank you

I am a type 1 diabetic, and diabeties is never treated as it should, its always about type 2 diabetes in most cases in major media.
