Reconsider the new Family Dollar @ 2001 James Jackson Pkwy NW in Atlanta

Please reconsider opening a new Family Dollar at 2001 James Jackson Pkwy NW in Atlanta.  Construction of a Family Dollar has already begun at the corner of Bolton and Marietta Rd. The second planned Family Dollar would bookend the Riverside community. We do NOT need 2 this close together in our neighborhood (2 within a .75 mile radius). It will only bring down the neighborhood we have all been trying so hard to improve. We are asking that Family Dollar reconsider this location and NOT build.

We do not need two Family Dollar stores so close to each other within the same zip code and within a mile and a half of one another. My heart hurt today when I saw that a F.D. Store was being built less than 1/4 mile from my house on Bolton and James Jackson. I was certainly hoping for a grocery store and not another Family Dollar. I do not shop at F.D. never have and never will.

Family Dollar has proposed a store for our community and we don't want it either. I support your neighborhood.

A Family Dollar, unfortunately, will de-value the area. I will not support the business should it be built.

The area needs a Trader Joe's a lot more than a duplicate of a store being built just down the street. . Or. A neighborhood coop grocery like the one in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Would promote a Green Market on now vacant property nearby. A win-win for all concerned. Anyone else like the idea?

There is one down teh street We don't need another one here to cheapen our neighborhood.
