Family pets are being needlessly shot at epidemic proportions by law enforcement across the nation. Because these are happening in different states the enormousness of this problem is not being realized. We want national training and accountability for using non-lethal force with our family members. We want the nation as a whole to be aware of this issue. We would be most appreciative of your help.

This is an excellent petition that has been circulating to congressional members.

This is a link to a video that shows the faces and names of many family pets that have been shot and also incudes some of the reasons why they have been shot.

This is a link to another video that shows how the family pets were before and after their interaction with law enforcement.

This is a link to the press release by the Arlington Texas police regarding the training that they will institute as a result of the shooting of little Bucky.

This is a link to the news story about the training that was instituted for Fort Worth officers after the death of Lily, the border collie.  Her owners, the Bolings pushed for positive change to occur in the way officers interact with animals.

The petition started by the Bolings, the owners of Lily, to institute training of officers.  This petition has nearly 5,000 signatures on it.

See some of the faces that are forever changed from having their family pets shot, many which witnessed the shooting.

Having a gun doesn't mean that is the answer - don't let people that have to control carry one and be paid by us tax payers!
