NBA: Commissioner David Stern

Allow Allen Iverson to play in NBA again and retire like a great!

    1. Petition by

Allen Iverson has done many great things for this league for the NBA to treat him in such a dirty capacity. Nobody asked David Stern not to be himself, so he should not be acting this way towards Allen Iverson. HE IS WAY BETTER THAN PLENTY OF PLAYERS THAT HAVE BEEN STARTING SINCE HE WAS BARRED from the NBA in the most underhanded way. Not to mention what the referees did to him!

Shortly Before and for some time After Michael Jordan Left, Allen iverson kept the league exciting AND without an All Star Cast of team mates.

You have a player in AI whose never thrown his teammates under the bus but has always maintained that win as a team lose as a team mentality, a player who always wants to play all 48 minutes because he loves the game there competing on the big stage, a player who will always put fans in the seats,a player that gives 110%.

AI never had a DUI, No Rape charge, no Ejections for playing dirty, He never flipped out on a player for going to the heat like the cavs owner LOL. Allen Iverson is loved by not only the black community, but the basketball community, and the world community.

The striving ball player, NBA rookie, and most of all the common man/woman from meager upbringing struggling to make it in the world filled with challenges, and dealings with judgemental critics can relate to Allen Iverson.

He is the most approachable player and very down to earth. Allen Iverson donates and contributes to the lives of many disadvantaged youth as well as suburban up and coming ball players as well BUT the media never wants to mention that. Allen Iverson Represents the little guy, and he does it with a huge heart!

Read what the fans said below:

Iverson is a smart guy, the Lakers have chance to go far in the playoffs and even become the favorite in the West if they get the point guard they have been missing. Iverson is 37, but Steve Nash is 38, Jason is turning 39 and those guys aren't nearly as athletic as he is but can still play at a high level at this position.

Iverson put in the right situation could do some damage, even today, he has averaged 26.7 points in his 14-year career. Iverson was still able to score 13.8 points a game in the worst situation of his NBA career in Memphis in 2010, coming off the bench.

PLEASE,WE THE PEOPLE!!!!!! demand an ANSWER to the QUESTION that we all want to know from the NBA,Where is Allen Iverson?

We want the answer by way of a proper reintroduction to the NBA in the most respectful manner that you owe US! the loyal supporters, ticket holders,Seat Fillers!

WE KEEP THE LEAGUE ALIVE. WITHOUT THE PEOPLE, you would not have an NBA.

WE FEEL RIPPED OFF! WITH OUT ALLEN IVERSON, WE WILL NEVER GET OUR MONEY's WORTH.

HE IS OUR MODERN DAY ROCKY BALBOA IN REAL LIFE .Look at how many players he has influenced.Nuff said.

The PEOPLE love Allen Iverson! Young and Old.

Sincerely,

FROM THE PEOPLE ON THE UNITED FRONT

DEAR, MR STERN I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THE FOLLOWING WORDS IF I MAY . EVERYONE IS ENTITLED TO THIS THING CALLED REDEMPTION, WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES. I JUST HOPE THAT YOU MR STERN THAT YOU WOULD FIND IT IN YOUR HEART ,TO GIVE HIM ANOTHER CHANCE TO PROVE TO THE PROGRAM AND THE WORLD. THAT HE CAN COME BACK FROM BAD JUDGMENTS . THIS ALSO ALLOWS HIM TO BE ABLE TO PROVIDE FOR HIS CHILDREN . LET HIM BE A MAN . THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR A LONG TIME. HE IS BEING DEHUMANIZING AND ITS TAKING AWAY FROM HIM AS AN EXCELLENT PLAYER . . NO ONE DESERVES TO BE TREATED THIS WAS. THERE ARE SO MANY MORE NBA PLAYERS WHO HAVE DONE SO MANY MORE THINGS THAT WERE UNDERMINDLY WRONG, BUT THEY WERE ALLOWED TO PLAY AND TAKING BACK WITH OPEN ARMS ALLOWED TO PLAY AND FINISH OUT THERE CAREERS THE WAY THEY STARTED . MR STERN IF YOU AS GOOD A BUSSINESSMAN AS I COME TO KNOW YOU TO BE THIS IS A GOOD BUSSNESS DEAL ALL THE WAY AROUND. IF YOU COULD FIND IT IN YOUR HEART TO ALLOW ALLEN TO PLAY THIS WILL BE VITAL FOR THE TEAM HE PLAYS FOR ,KNOWING THIS IASK YOU AS A HUMAN BEING , BECAUSE THE FINAL WORD IS YOURS ULTIMATEL. ALLOW HIM A CHANCE. YOU MUST NOT JUDGE A BOOK BY IT COVER. HE ISN'T THE SAME YOUNG MAN AS YOU CAN SEE. HE HAS GROWN AND IS NOT THE SAME YOUNG MAN ANYMORE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME MR STREN .
