Tell NBC to reject ads of aborted bloody fetuses on Super Bowl Sunday

In 2004 Janet Jackson had a "wardrobe malfunction", briefly exposing a breast, resulting in a horrific outcry that she was indecent and must apologize for being offensive. It was also that same year another television network rejected ads from the United Church of Christ deeming those to be too controversial.

Now, in 2012, Super Bowl Sunday will be airing ads showing graphic images of aborted bloody fetuses. NBC has approved these four ads as created and paid for by Operation Rescue, a fringe group founded by Democratic Presidential candidate and Pro-Life Activist Randall Terry. Terry is using an FEC (Federal Election Commission) loophole allowing that political candidates' ads cannot be prohibited within 45 days of an election.

At whatever level of reasoning, NBC has approved these ads, and does not deem them as being inappropriate for families, children, or anyone else to view, or as too controversial or offensive to the public at large.

Please sign this petition if you disagree with the NBC's decision to allow these ads to be run on Super Bowl Sunday.
Let them know you consider their decision to show bloody fetuses as advertisement is inappropriate, controversial, and especially hypocritical of the any television network in supporting this type of advertising.

Tell NBC to reject these ads now!

it seems totally inappropriate to most probably subject thousands and millions of children to bloody dead fetus pictures during a scheduled time of family viewing.

Regardless of pro-choice or pro-life, this is a sick person seeking attention, not someone who actually cares about life. Families who are watching the super bowl should not be subjected to this kind of disgusting propaganda. I'd much rather my kids see a naked breast than these kinds of horrific images. I can’t believe this is being allowed.

I am pro choice and although I think abortion should be rare it should not be demonized.

I don't want to see such stuff on tv. I don't want religious nutcases infringing on women's civil rights or trying to take over the country. America is not a theocracy. We're a secular religion-tolerant country.
